What Is
Wushu?
Wushu, otherwise known as ‘Kung Fu,’ is a form
of martial arts made famous by the likes of Jet Li, Jackie
Chan and the movie Crouching Tiger Hidden
Dragon.
Our type of
martial arts do not deal in just displays of physical prowess
and brusque movements. We, instead practice techniques that are
more graceful and accurately controlled.
Wushu also
involves amazing aerial artistry and tumbling techniques. Plus,
handling and mastery of traditional weapons like the commanding
staff and the impressive straight sword.
With our
martial arts program, you will develop improved body strength
and flexibility, increase energy and endurance, have better
coordination and balance, stronger bones and joints and even
develop the muscles that will lead to fat loss. You will be
taught skills and dexterity in protecting yourself mentally,
physically and emotionally. You will have the chance to acquire
not only the correct techniques in hand-to-hand martial arts,

Wushu For Adult
Lessons
This class will push your physical flexibility,
endurance, speed and power. The lessons will teach the
class about the techniques of combining all kicks, hand
movements, somersaults and footwork and convert them all
into the classically graceful martial arts known as
Wushu.
Master
Chen, a teacher with an illustrious reputation for his elegant
mastery of Martial arts, will conduct the class. You will also
learn basic Shaolin stretching disciplines, warm up exercises
and various hand-sets in addition to some Tai Chi
principles.

Wushu Weaponry
Lessons
Here is where you can learn to properly wield a
sword and train to fight with a staff. The weapons
utilized in Wushu are mainly the classics from ancient
military weaponry. Wushu weaponry lessons will teach you
the fundamental techniques in using the broad and long
swords and the staff or cudgel.
You will
learn many varied conducts of using these weapons. This is the
course that will give you knowledge of the basics of Wushu
stances and the exquisite artistry of its
weapons.
Tai
Chi Lessons
Tai Chi focuses on the inner relationship
between mind and body, where one’s body movements respond
rhythmically and peacefully to the environment while
harnessing the power of the mind.
Ungainly
body movements are products of unorganized brain messages to
the different body parts. With Tai Chi lesson, a student will
learn to focus on sending exact messages that will result in
fluidity of motion. And while the instrument is the physical
body, the exercise is primarily practiced
mentally.
Tai Chi
will build up your muscles and bones, increase flexibility and
stamina, enhance motor skills, balance and responsiveness and
also revitalize blood
